“My first visit to Barbican Botanics took place this Thursday evening, during a small plate tasting event where Barbican Botanics joined forces with a Japanese restaurant, KuKu(another local business). The evening was absolutely exquisite. Culinary masterpieces, accompanied with drinks which had been delicately and passionately developed to enhance the flavour of each dish. The service was attentive, friendly and was served with a wealth of knowledge about the product in which they were providing. Every ounce of enthusiasm, compassion and dedication to make this night wonderful did not go unnoticed. For all these reasons and more, Barbican Botanics is a MUST GO. I highly recommend you give your custom as you will not be disappointed.”

“We were gifted a whiskey flight for 2 here and it was such a unique experience! The choice of whiskeys was extensive and the drinks sheet allowed us to choose whiskeys we felt we’d enjoy based on their flavour profile. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble at all. They also engaged in conversation, gave recommendations and asked about us which gave a real personal and welcoming feel. The atmosphere was cosy and comfortable and it felt like we’d escaped to another dimension for a while!”

“What an amazing find this was! I came here because my sister and I love our gins and told by family that it was open. Unfortunately for my sister, they were closed the day she arrived here..... But luckily for me I chose an evening they were open and didn't regret it! Currently 114 different gins available and accompanying tonics and added botanically amazing additions........ From the very welcoming owner and female door staff to the very knowledge Matt...... I really felt looked after! I even took 2"previously "non gin fans! Living 300 miles away is going to be a hard one! Well done team..... You have a great location and ethos!”

“Love this place, the staff are chilled, very knowledgeable and the selection of booze is sublime. This time we went for a whisky flight and there were 30 odd, to choose from, all independent distilleries. Our server was brilliant, knew his stuff, witty and relaxed. We were sat upstairs and it's lovely and cosy, nicely decorated, the chatter and music mix was perfect, everyone chatting and laughing. We are planning the next flight pf gin, then right after some rum haha. Great place.”
